Martin Robinson

Martin Robinson

Martin Robinson is the National Director of Together in Mission. Martin was born in India of missionary parents and then brought up in Scotland where his father was a church planter. In his early 20’s Martin trained for the ministry and his first church was inner city Birmingham. That muti-ethnic congregation engaged in church planting and Martin together with his wife Lynda went to lead one of those church plants.

After 13 years in local ministry, Martin went to work for the Bible Society in a variety of roles. In his role as Director of Mission and Theology and since, Martin has written many books on the broad theme of mission. In 2002 Martin joined Together in Mission as the National Director.

Laurence Singlehurst

Laurence Singlehurst

Laurence was educated in England, but dropped out of school at 16, travelled the world, became a Christian through some Jesus freaks in 1973. Spent some time in a Jesus community and in Australia, came back to England and was involved Youth With A Mission where Laurence played a number of different roles, ending up as the National Director for YWAM England.

During his time as National Director, Laurence was involved in helping start a number of national initiatives: March For Jesus, Cell UK Ministries and Fusion. In 2003 Laurence stepped down as National Director for YWAM England, remaining a YWAMer, but giving more time to some of these initiatives he was involved in, particularly Cell UK Ministries, discipleship and evangelism in a post-modern environment and Fusion.

Laurence is an author of a number of books, eg., Sowing Reaping Keeping and has a passion for evangelism and seeking to present Christ in a relevant way.

Laurence is married to Ailish, they met in 1979 and have been married for over 25 years. They have three children, all now grown up: Kiera, Justyn and Laura.

To relax, Laurence loves being with his friends, eating good food and has a passion for collecting antiques.

Paul Griffiths

Paul Griffiths

Paul Griffiths is a freelance evangelist. He holds an MA in Mission and lectures on several theological courses across the UK. His several published works include a contemporary evangelistic take on the book of Ecclesiastes. As an evangelist he is involved in the running of various evangelism training and evangelistic courses for local churches. His son describes him as the Homer Simpson of spiritual insight.

Roy Searle

Roy Searle

Revd. Roy Searle is one of the founder leaders of the Northumbria Community, a Christian Community with a network of over 2,500 people committed to a Rule of Life, Availability and Vulnerability, exploring a new monastic spirituality.

He lives in the Cheviot hills of North Northumberland with his wife Shirley. They have four grown up children and thoroughly enjoy the pleasures without much responsibilities of being grandparents!

A past President of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, Roy has also worked closely with Richard Foster and the Renovaré movement. He is a visiting lecturer at several colleges, travels extensively and speaks and writes on issues of spiritual formation, spirituality, culture, leadership, building communities, church renewal, transition and mission. He is consultant, advisor and mentor to a number of individuals, churches and charitable agencies and an Associate of the Baobab Centre in York where Roy addresses values and relational issues in the secular workplace.

He loves sailing particularly in the Scottish Hebrides, is a faithful follower of Middlesbrough Football Club and enjoys walking, relaxing and spending time with his family and close friends. He loves Ireland where he travels regularly and where he recently spent a year living and working with people in the ongoing Peace Process and establishing a Community of Prayer at Saul, associated with St. Patrick.
