During this highly stimulating day we will explore the questions of, “How does post-modernity interact with the communication of the gospel;”, “How do people journey to faith?” and “ What are the key components in developing an evangelism strategy for your local church?”

Nearly all growing churches and Christian movements feature the use of small groups. These are not merely Bible study or fellowship groups though they may do both these things. Small groups used in mission have a distinct character. What would such groups look like and how might we develop them?

Why not book now so you don’t forget

”Probably the key to being an effective Anglican these days is having a mission mindset. (cf “The Mission-shaped Church”); thinking strategically as to how to connect our 2000 year old Gospel to lives of those living locally. Every parish I know of is trying to develop the Christian message to their local needs. “Sparks for mission” gives Christians the tools to do this strategic thinking, with the nationally known speakers to help one reflect deeply about the local situation, and with lots of examples of good practise, ideas that work. “Sparks for Mission” has helped me to pray this through, encouraged me to do the research, and work out what fits locally… And with a dozen or more local churches involved, at only £10 a session, it is a must, even in a busy life.”
John Longuet-Higgins: Painswick

“It was an excellent day in every way”.
Jim Baker; Farmhill Baptist Church

“The Sparks for Mission day was certainly worth attending. Martin Robinson is an inspiring speaker and really challenged us to look at the how the church can reach out to our communities. You don’t need to be a church leader to benefit from the teaching. Highly recommended”
Julian Regel, Worship Leader , MBC

‘Interesting and helpful sessions. Also good to meet the many members of other churches who were present’.
Barry Cowls: Nailsworth

Be sure that your church makes the most of this unique opportunity. In the next session, on July 12th, Hugh Osgood will help us explore the topic of DISCIPLESHIP. Bring your home group leaders / pastoral care team/ leadership team/ worship group. BOOK NOW
