Western culture is undergoing huge change – some call this a paradigm shift, a shift in world view of huge proportions. Whenever change takes place on such a scale, all the issues that previous generations have taken for granted rise to the fore. What is the church, what is mission and what do we mean by the gospel are just some of the questions that have to be tackled afresh.
This series of training days will offer opportunities for us to tease out some of these issues, with guidance from some of the most experienced practitioners of our time.

AIM OF “SPARKS FOR MISSION”
- to build on the success of previous Ignition training events
- to inspire and equip both church members and leaders for mission
- to encourage and support co-operative approaches to mission
- to offer relevant training which is accessible at all levels
PROGRAMME OUTLINE:
Each Saturday will be self contained, however there will be a common framework. The morning will provide a broad over view of the topic; lunchtime an opportunity to discuss practical issues, aided by some structured questions from the speakers. Some folk may not be able to attend for the whole day, however for those who can, the afternoon will provide an opportunity to dig deeper into the subject.
